Versarien’s News Update – FFP3 Graphene Face Mask under development!

We were pleased to hear the news that Versarien have continued their testing and development of graphene enhanced face masks to meet even higher certification standards. As stated in their RNS update No.38250 on 09-Feb-2021 we quote the following:

“In a further development, the Company is pleased to report that, after testing of prototypes of the latest version of the mask, which is a non-valve mask, it has been certied as meeting the FFP3 standard, the highest standard under the European EN149 standard for ltering half face masks.”

The above mentioned RNS update ends with the following comment from the Versarien’s CEO Neill Rickets:

“We are delighted that the latest version of our mask has passed the rigorous FFP3 testing process. Whilst we currently have an FFP2 R mask on sale that we believe compares very well with other masks available, being able to offer a non-valve FFP3 mask with anti-viral properties is a signicant further step and we intend to bring these masks to the market as soon as possible.”

Of course, here at Graphene PPE we hope to have these FFP3 masks available in addition to the FFP2 R (KN95) face masks already on sale in our online Shop. It could be a while until they’re available but it’s great news!
